Developed Global Assembly Line Standard Layout, reducing manpower
required by 30% to achieve 110% of existing production. Project Beta
Site will be developed in Hartwell, GA in 2014 for $4MM USD.
Developed plans for realignment of machining and grinding department.
Proposal will reduce changeover and downtime, reduce manpower required
to meet production, improve production capability, reduce throughput
time, reduce raw material costs, and implement advanced machining and
grinding equipment into existing process. Anticipated $1MM USD annual
savings.
Implemented equipment rebuild program spanning 20 months for Hartwell, GA
screw cutting department. $2.6 MM USD, yields 100% + improvement in
throughput reducing costs by $1.3 MM USD annually.
