Chartered Engineer status awarded in October 2004, B.Eng. Honours Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering Qualified (2:1, GPA 3.6), Electronic / Systems Engineer with broad experience in aerospace: resource management, program management, controls research and technology, hardware systems and the development and Test of Aerospace products.
Currently working at Rolls-Royce Indianapolis as a Component Engineering Manager, leading a team of multi-disciplined engineers responsible for the delivery of aerospace Electrical and Mechanical components.

• Lead Engineer for the systems engineering activity on POA
• Created all the top level systems requirements for POA
• Technically responsible for the POA Active Magnet Bearing and Electric Fuel Pumping Metering System.

• Lead Engineer for the EFE control system activities for the novel turbine tip clearance system, sensors and air system.

Rolls-Royce Control Systems – ANTLE -Systems Engineer, DERBY ENGLAND
• Compiled all the ANTLE commissioning and test requirements for the Goodrich Engine Control Systems Test Facility (GECS STF)
• Fully responsible for testing the ANTLE control system
• Fully responsible for carrying out the analysis of the ANTLE STF test results
• Managed all activities with respect to the ANTLE control system testing at GECS
• Complied unit test requirements for three novel units, Variable Nozzle Guide Vanes (VNGV’s), pressure pulse system and active tip clearance system prior to ANTLE STF testing

Rolls-Royce Control Systems – ANTLE-Systems Engineer, DERBY ENGLAND
• Fully responsible for specifying the System Test facility requirements for the ANTLE control system including the advanced technology functions of the IP turbine VNGV actuation system and active tip clearance control.
• Organised and contributed to technical meetings held with external suppliers providing new technology for Control Systems.
• Performed system safety analysis on civil Variable Inlet Guide Vanes (VIGV’s) actuation systems for the High Performance Engine Control System (HiPECS 'B') project which was used as a basis for selection of the ANTLE demonstrator system.
• Member of the ANTLE interface controls document team, with sole responsibility for the fuel system, electronic solenoid driver, VIGV actuation system, and the advanced tip clearance systems, burn out detection and pyrometers. This activity requires extensive liaison with European partners to agree a full range of electrical and functional requirements.
• Fully responsible for the ANTLE controls instrumentation to include the capture of requirements to support instrumentation design.
• Manage the High Temperature Electronics for Aerospace Manufacturer (HiTEAM2) and LAND pyrometer projects.
• Represent the ANTLE Main Engine Controls team at ITP on several occasions with respect to engine dressings.
