Project engineer on brushless DC motors. Performed noise and impact analysis on motor designs in vibrations lab. Developed and improved models and FEA simulations with Solidworks and SPEED. Fabricated thermal chamber for accelerated life testing. Installed capital equipment and developed protocols for quality testing.
Research Assistant, The University of Tennessee, Memphis, TN - 2010-2013
Prototyped custom equipment for biorobotic research involving the shoulder, heel, cervical spine, lumbar spine, orthotic devices and other soft tissue experiments. Dissected and prepared cadaveric specimen for experiments. Developed, validated and executed protocols on custom robotic equipment. Repaired and modernized servo and controller systems. Wrote and debugged algorithms for data processing and mining. Research poster was awarded first place among all third year students. Abstract was accepted for presentation and publication at the 29th SBME Conference.
