PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Technetics Group Daytona May 2012-Present
Design Engineer – Member of team responsible for applying technical knowledge and concepts to aid in design, manufacture, and testing of multiple complex ITAR components for the SLS Core Stage Thrust Vector Control Hydraulic Actuation System. Create and maintain technical documentation and 3D models using PLM system for two accumulators and one reservoir.
 Modeled and maintained three separate 3D assemblies using CREO computer aided design software including components, sub-assemblies, and Bill of Materials (BOM) to drive design
 Performed tolerance stack-up and clearance analysis for ground operations team for installation of components onto platform to assure fluid installation and assure proper fitup
 Created and maintained multiple documents across three components including engineering drawings, acceptance and qualification test procedures, and material identification and usage lists to meet schedule requirements and drive production
 Presented designs to multiple large aerospace customers to prove out design resulting in over one million dollars in purchase orders
 Acted as interface to customers while providing project monthly reviews (PMRs) including schedules created using Microsoft Project and delegated team to meet key milestones
 Developed reliability template for basic and complex reliability predictions based on parts count method and stress/strength methods resulting in an increase in talent level within the organization
 Designed multiple non-destructive evaluation calibration standards for development of ultrasonic and radiographic inspection techniques of electron beam welds
Gas Turbine Lab-Embry Riddle Aeronautical University September 2010-January 2012
Graduate Research Assistant – Conducted research for transport of large commercial jet engines by means of 3D modeling and dynamic simulation.
 Modeled and assembled multiple large jet engines and cargo aircrafts using CATIA V5 Part Design and Assembly Design
 Simulated engine loading situations using CATIA V5 DMU Kinematics to show cargo aircraft capable of transport
 Worked as part of a team of two to create and develop MATLAB graphical user interface for optimization of engine transport
 Built and welded engine stand and aided in assembly and testing of pulse detonation prototype engine for development of future propulsion systems
PROJECTS
Retention Seal Testing – Technetics February 2014-July 2014
Engineer/Tester – Engineer delegated to determine if retention seal used on SLS accumulators and reservoir were leak tight.
 Developed tooling to test seal separately prior to assembly to mitigate risk.
 Provided test results and new material sealing application preventing future failure of qualification units.
 Prepared detailed test procedure for manufacturing use when assembling units.
Composite Material Data Development – Technetics September 2013-October 2013
Engineer/Tester – Developed material ...
