Holcim U.S. May 2014 to August 2014
• Process and Environmental Engineering Intern at the Devil’s Slide Cement Plant. The primary emphasis of the internship was to develop potential solutions for future emission regulations and test their effectiveness and develop a quality control manual for all emission monitoring equipment. The solution I developed to the upcoming emission regulations cost significantly less than the $350,000 budget proposed for the project.

• Process Engineering Intern for the Sugar Creek Facility. Main emphasis of the internship was to assist the process engineers with preparing and analyzing test samples and help with organizing and executing an overall process audit. Another emphasis was to reduce cement tanker loading times by 20%.
