Currently working with the City’s Parks & Recreation Department to include all aspects related to the engineering of current and upcoming projects. Do preparation of specifications and plan sheets. Review and approve pay estimates and quantities submitted for billing, and also review bid proposals. Prepare policy reports, requests for proposals, and also review consultant submittals. Perform inspections for projects to include buildings, structures, and many miscellaneous items. Interact with contractors, city officials, and citizens.

Performed all aspects of inspection for any and all water pollution control related projects or any related public works projects to include preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates for such projects. Reviewed and approved pay estimates and quantities submitted for billing. Performed all aspects of pavement management to include street inspections and compilations of yearly overlay projects. Prepared plans, specifications, spreadsheets, maps, did engineer’s estimates, and performed daily inspections of contractor work. Acted as project manager by preparing plans, specifications, and estimates for KDOT Klink projects to also include in-field contractor inspections. Instituted use of PowerPoint computer program and scanning abilities to aid with plan designs done by myself. Assisted street department and other related entities with various aspects of their work. Interacted with KDOT officials and also coordinated and executed the yearly APWA Snow Plow & Equipment Expo. Coordinated contractors used for the city’s snow removal.
