Provide civil engineering support to the client at Cannon Air Force Base in support of base operations. Responsible for project management and engineering duties including paving, grading and drainage, preparation of estimates, specifications, reports, memos, and studies for the City of Albuquerque, City of Clovis, City of Rio Rancho, Bernalillo County, NMDOT, and various private entities. Performed drainage analysis, prepared the inundation maps, and prepared the Emergency Action Plan (EAP) reports for the City of Clovis concerning 3 dams within city jurisdiction. Additional responsibilities included roadway design, estimate preparation, utility coordination and certification, drainage memo analysis and preparation, and attending meetings with various departs of the City of Albuquerque (COA). Performed research for various projects which involved concept design, site studies, and the preparation of memos and reports to advise COA staff. Supervised the preparation of PS&E for the COA Academy Bike Lanes project including drainage analysis, design, and report preparation. Developed erosion control structure concept plans, including final PS&E, for the City of Rio Rancho to repair damage to the arroyo banks destroyed by flooding in 2006. Duties also included permitting, contract document preparation, special specification preparation, attending project coordination meetings with the City of Rio Rancho staff, conducting the pre-construction meetings and performing construction management duties involving pay requests, schedule review, inspections, and coordinating day-to-day construction activities.

Responsible for providing civil engineering support for the Sandoval County On-Call contract. Duties included writing contracts, preparing estimates, change orders, pay requests, supervising preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates. Duties also include preparing exhibits, drainage reports for state and federal authorities, processing NMDOT access and utility permits, and develop solutions to civil engineering problems on a case by case basis. This also included review of subdivision submittals to Sandoval County according to Sandoval County Land Development specifications.
Experience with land development includes preparing preliminary and final plat packages, preparing drainage reports and master drainage plans per SSCAFCA specifications and the City of Albuquerque Design Process Manual, preparing and reviewing subdivision plan sets, and resolving utility design problems in the field.
