1) Lean Manufacturing Consulting Engineer – Winston Salem – Industries for The Blind ( WSIFB) – WS-NC, USA, From 5/2015 to Present ( Temp/Contract Job)
WS-IFB provides employment, training, and services to people who are blind or visually impaired at our two North Carolina locations (Winston-Salem and Asheville), as well as our new location in Little Rock, Arkansas. We also own and operate dozens of entities across the country and abroad.
Responsibilities : Implement all Lean Manufacturing initiatives and projects to solve plant process problems, generate cost savings ( Kaizen Program), Continue Improving program, Improve quality trend results, eliminating waste, 5S+1 Program, Poka Joke, SMED, Kamban System, One Piece Floor, Cell Layout and reducing the cycle and lead time ( Value Stream Mapping) and working with new products development team. I also have been working with manufacturing departments in a couples projects.
