Engineers Without Borders (EWB): Project Lead, UVM, Burlington, VT September 2013- Present
• Led a team of students in a preliminary study for a grey water treatment project in a coffee farming community in Nicaragua that sources to Green Mountain Coffee Roasters
• Performed water quality tests on kitchen and laundry greywater to quantify constituents of concern
• Analyzed water quality results and assisted in preliminary design and testing of a slow sand filter
• Prepared technical reports detailing our plans, results, and designs that were accepted by EWB-USA
• Collaborated with the Vermont Professional EWB chapter, local Nicaraguan students and an NGO

• Prepared a research proposal that was accepted and approved for a research grant
• Operated terrestrial LiDAR equipment to scan streambanks at multiple sites, analyzed data and quantified streambank erosion and resulting sediment/nutrient loadings that occurred
