COURSE PROJECTS:
Fully Differential Amplifier – 2014
*Collaborated with a partner to design a full differential amplifier in Cadence Design software using a 90 nm CMOS process.
*Managed design files, simulation results, design calculations and written reports; with proper names/dates for server storage to access locally and remotely.
*Responsible for data entry of simulations, spotting/fixing errors during simulation, and creation of spreadsheets for report.
*Co-wrote a technical report in the IEEE standard format for the final design using Microsoft Word.
*Researched telescopic differential topologies for advantages and trade-off in performance specs.

High Swing Current Mirror – 2014
*Independent design project to create a high swing current mirror in the 90 nm CMOS process.
*Researched and examined existing current mirrors to understand techniques for improving personal design topology.
*Documented errors and design approach in order to improve existing trial designs for better accuracy and feedback upon review of data and design schematics.
*Used Cadence for schematic analysis of DC/AC signals, transient signals, CMMR, and CMOS sizes.
*Provided written data reports to peers when consulting for help, to trace origin of design errors.

7 Band Equalizer – 2013
*Designed a two stage audio equalizer with multiple feedback Sallen Key filters, summing amplifier and pan-pot stage to filter and isolate audio input signals within a frequency range of 100 Hz to 15.36 kHz.
*Tested circuit to verify each individual filter band for desired outputs gains with electrical testing tools before implementation of second stage filter to prevent loss of total output signal and overall gain.
*De-soldered speaker from PC equipment and re-soldered the speaker for use onto the equalizer circuit board.

High Output Audio Amplifier – 2013
*Collaborated with two team members to design an audio amplifier; achieving high output to drive a 32 ohm speaker without major loss of audio signal that can operate with a 9 V supplied source.
*Responsible for testing and signal analysis of design schematics through use of Multisim and LabView.
