April 2013 – Present
-Compile $1,000 to $4,000,000 cost packages to recoup costs (Time & Materials) from the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA) for the I-405 Sepulveda Pass Widening Project including lateral wall construction and relocation of unmapped utilities.
-Use Microsoft Excel to create Work Expense Summary Sheets to identify Labor,
Equipment, Material, and Subcontractor costs being submitted to LACMTA.
-Review LACMTA rejected costs and determine whether or not the specified costs are billed to the correct operation (Comment Resolution).
-Interface directly with the estimating department and field engineer to identify scope of work of all charges to Retaining Walls 1720, 1730, and 1746, located adjacent to the northbound Sunset on and off-ramps. We removed the work covered under contract from the cost package and provided litigation support to project directors and our department head.
-Produce weekly Time and Materials cost package status reports using Excel tables and graphs to update project supervisors on the cost recovery progress.
