o Contractor senior management was so pleased with the newly developed Risk Management program, they mandated that it be utilized on all programs at the Redondo Beach facility and issued a revised command media Risk Management document.
o Wrote weekly reports for management describing major engineering activities and critical issue status including predictive analysis on how cost, schedule, and performance will be impacted.
• Evaluated resumes and conducted interviews for the recruiting and hiring for GS-12 and GS-13 engineering positions.
• Mentor and instruct less experienced engineers on how to perform engineering assessment and evaluation of contractor activities, and assist with and edit their written reporting tasks.
• Prepared and presented to the DWSS Program Management Office and DCMA management, a presentation on Lessons Learned from the National Polar-Orbiting Operational Environmental Satellite System (NPOESS).
• Special assignment requested by US Department of Justice and DCMA Legal.
o Provided Engineering support to a special investigation team consisting of members from the US Air Force Office of Special Investigations, the DoD Office of the Inspector General Defense Criminal Investigative Service, and the NASA Inspector General Office of Investigations.
