Oversee all incoming automotive warranty data to analyze defect rate trends and forecast claim projections. Lead meetings with customers and suppliers to negotiate warranty claim burden ratios based on investigative findings for company’s responsibility and quality risk assessment.
Manage company Key Process Index (KPI) for performance review and create project plans to reduce overall quality issues. Provide Layered Process Audit (LPA) findings for improvements.
Prepare PPAP/ISIR, FMEA, Work Standard, Control Plan, 4M Change, and Non-Conforming Report documentation. Utilize root cause analysis as a part of a cross-functional team to investigate return parts and report corrective action improvements to the customer.
Supervise team of three reliability lab technicians as a suspension test engineer. Conduct product validation tests for new vehicle parts or products with major EO changes. Perform investigative testing for field returns. Present test results in a formal report format.
