Special Projects Tooling Lead
- Technical focal for the team to generate tooling concepts tools to support production, incorporating input from Production, Manufacturing Engineering, Process Engineering, and facilitate fabrication of designed tools, all while operating within restrictions of classified environment
- Acting Cost Account Manager for program tooling, directly responsible for Earned Value Management System reporting
- Asked to step into position due to eagerness to learn, team leadership skills, and technical expertise in tooling and integration in order to get a project back on schedule, recovering a 3 month behind schedule condition in 6 months
- Responsible for the review of designs as the final check prior to fabrication and integration, including the feasibility assessment for technical requirements, cost, and maintainability
- Tooling POC for Corrective Actions, responsible for 5Y investigations, rapid response coordination, lessons learned summaries, and protocol establishment to prevent future issues
- Responsible for establishing staffing requirements, including budget and talent requirements, in order to form strong team capable of supporting several assembly projects with minimal staff
- Mentor to core team of technical experts, tasked with establishing self sufficient team within 1 year in order to allow for my movement to another project
- Extensive experience in the CATIA environment including modeling, dimensioning, and system analysis as well as teaching a corporate funded CATIA course
- Volunteering to support other groups with staffing short comings in order to keep program on schedule and increase experience breadth, including support of Packaging, Handling, Shipping, and Manufacturing Engineering
- Extensive experience visual basic programming, programming optimizations for the team on a weekly basis
F-35 Integrated Assembly Line Tooling Integration Lead
- Technical lead for team of 15 tooling personnel, responsible for training of team to go from a tooling team to a tooling engineering team
- Assembly line expert for F-35, working to integrate tools into a tooling system, rather than on a tool by tool basis, requiring extensive knowledge of assembly line as well as supplier fabrication of parts
