Gallagher Asphalt Thornton, IL January 2015 – May 2015
(Senior Engineering Design Project)
Worked with a team of colleagues to reallocate excess dolomite dust from Gallagher’s asphalt manufacturing plants.
Presented a final report that provided environmentally conscious solutions which reduced costs with a 3-year payback.
Illinois Department of Transportation Schaumburg, IL May 2014 – August 2014
(Civil Engineering Intern)
Supervised and documented work including storm sewer removal/installation, tree removal, temporary asphalt installment.
Collaborated with an experienced team of engineers on the full reconstruction of Route 31 in Crystal Lake, IL between Virginia Road and Rakow Road.
Revised multiple construction plans in terms of completed work and future task scheduling.
Berger Excavating Contractors Wauconda, IL June 2013 – August 2013

Through the use of HCSS HeavyBid, developed and studied various sets of project plans to estimate specific details for earth excavation.
Surveyed construction sites using state of the art GPS technology.
Organized and led initial meetings for multi-million dollar projects that discussed planned excavation and removal of necessary power, gas and electric lines.
