Responsibilities include use of aseptic techniques, sample preparation, data collection and analysis, bacterial cultivation techniques, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), electrochemical techniques (PEIS-potentiostatic electrodynamics impedance spectroscopy, LP- Linear polarization, Zero resistance ammetry-ZRA), and weight loss analysis. Assisted in the following projects: Microbial induced corrosion; effect of biofilm development and microbial metabolism. Using the ZRA technique to monitor microbial induced corrosion.
