Civil Engineer – May 2013 – Present
o Assisted with Microstation drafting work and corrections for Illinois State Toll
Highway Authority (Design upon Request) project primarily dealing with soil and
erosion, drainage and pavement patch layout.
o Performed construction inspection assignment to assist the Resident Engineer on a
vaulted sidewalk project with duties including documentation of daily activities of
work crews as well as documentation of quantities of materials placed for verification
to construction plans.
o Verified data entered into numerous Microsoft Excel charts were correct to assist in
transportation design studies.
o Performed construction inspection assignment to oversee coordination among utility
contractors with primary duties to include asphalt and concrete placement and
verification to compliance with City of Chicago regulations and permits in regards to
limits of work for construction and maintenance of traffic.
As part of the Chicago Department of Transportation Menu Program:
o Designed ADA ramps for various intersections around the City of Chicago as
well as checked and corrected drawings and calculations using Microstation
