-Conducted a Business Cost Analysis for UMD’s Office of Sustainability on various lighting implementations across the whole campus to meet the newly adopted IESNA standards
-Executed a Life Cycle Analysis on the different lighting adaptations to determine the environmental and economical impacts they have on the University
Integrated Product and Process Development – Spring 2013
-Constructed a prototype to improve the rear-view awareness of motorcyclists with 5 other members through research and collaboration
-Managed development of the prototype to be within designated budget and deadlines
-Handled various power tools and equipment to create prototype based on design blueprints
-Complied and completed 100+ pages reports and presentations to feature the prototype
Computer Aided Design with Finite Element Analysis – Fall 2012
-Created models using various CAD software like: Creo Parametric, Autodesk Inventor, ANSYS
-Performed FEA on those models to analyze features such as stress and deformation
Lean Six Sigma Strategies and Methods – Six Sigma Green Belt Certified - Spring 2012
-Collaborated with NASA to redevelop and improve their ESD garment procurement system
-Applied Lean Six Sigma tools to process of obtaining and distributing ESD garment
-Developed process maps to determine the roots of the problem and how to make the whole system much more cost and time efficient
-Performed risk analysis using tools like FMEA tables
