• Design Engineer on the development and qualification of the Guided Multiple Launch Rocket System (GMLRS) Ignition Safety Device (ISD) and the Insensitive Munitions Air-Ground Missile System (IMAGMS) Ignition Safety Device (ISD).
• Developed a unique signal and sequence validation circuit for use in initiation systems that lowered parts count, decreased cost, and increased reliability.
• Developed advanced launch and flight validation circuits using analog and digital accelerometers to work as safety interlocks in various initiation systems.
• Work in both the digital and analog design of single and multiple-event high reliability initiation systems to be compliant to both MIL-STD-1901A and MIL-STD-331C.
• Design and layout of rigid and rigid-flex PCB boards for both demo and tactical designs in Mentor Graphics. Corresponded with the board houses to ensure proper manufacturing of intended PCB designs.
• Lead Engineer on the production of the ESSM Laser Arm-Fire Device (LAFD), Archerfish Neutralizer Initiator, and the JPATS Canopy Fracture Initiation System (CFIS).
• Developed a complex reliability analysis of bending stresses on fiber optics used in the transfer of laser energy to pyrotechnic materials.
• Certified to J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610.
