My research was related to facilitating the standardization of fly ash-based geopolymer (GPC) concrete. Major Tasks
• Creation of a database to standardize the use of fly ash for GPC.
• Chemical and physical analysis of GPC. XRF, XRD, Particle Size Distribution.
• Fresh and hardened properties of GPC, setting time, slump, air content, compressive strength, flexural strength, and elastic modulus.
• Creep and shrinkage behavior of fly ash based GPC.
• Modeling the long term properties of GPC using the statistical regression analysis software.
• Application of GPC as a corrosion resistant base in paper mills (Georgia Pacific, MS & Clear Water, AR)
• Application of special concrete mix as a high temperature resistant lining in NASA steins center, MS.
• Setting time testing of geopolymer concrete in Oakridge National Laboratory.
