• Worked as a group of 6 with a city engineer in Corpus Christi to research different methods used to limit the amount of waste flowing from the storm drains into the ocean.
• Designed a simple system in SolidWorks to be placed in a drainage outfall and collect floating debris.
• Used CFD and a small proof-of-concept model to demonstrate the systems effectiveness.
• Presented to class/faculty/working professionals and received an A on the project.
Composite Manufacturing Project, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, May 2015

• Worked with two fellow students to design and manufacture a skateboard using composite materials.
• Created a foam tooling as a base for the vacuum bagging process.
• Wrapped a thin foam board with fiberglass and epoxy resin.
