Determination of a Multi Body Dynamics system(MBD) – Calculated the natural frequencies
Of a 4 Degree of Freedom Semi- definite system carrying disks. Calculated the equations of motion of the system.
Used MATLAB program to compute the natural frequencies and corresponding mode shapes
Thermal Stress Analysis of a Bi-Metallic strip – Performed a thermal analysis on a Bi-Metallic strip of given dimension. Applied Loads to calculate the stress and applied temperature on both the surface of the strip to calculate the temperature distribution. Used FEMAP/ NEiNastran software to validate the result.
Structural Dynamic Analysis of Nose Landing Gear(FEA) – Performed structural analysis of a landing gear using CATIA and ANSYS Mechanical APDL 14.5. Obtained an analytical solution using MATLAB and hand calculations. Compared the results obtained from commercial software (CATIA/ ANSYS) with the hand calculations to validate the results and to check the airworthiness of the landing gear.
Morphing wing using Macro Fiber Composite Actuators - Designed a morphing wing model with suitable dimensions using CATIA V-5 and analyzed its effects when the model is subjected to load or force using ANSYS.
