Light controlled solar powered motor: Created a closed-loop feedback control system, using PID to control the rpm of a motor using the irradiation from a light bulb on a solar panel, while maintaining a set speed under a given input interference, no controls used after the light bulb. This was accomplished by constructing a PWM circuit, testing equipment parameters (i.e. motor performance, solar cell performance, light performance) and programming with arduino code; in order to control and display the speed of a rotating disk powered by a 500 watt shop light through a voltaic cell.
