CONTROL SYSTEMS PROJECT: Inverted Pendulum on a Track 2015
Designed a controller in Matlab’s Simulink to swing up and control an inverted pendulum on a track.
LABVIEW AUTOMATION PROJECT: Vic-3D Calibration 2015
Created a LabVIEW program to control high-speed cameras and an electro- mechanical device, to automate the calibration of strain mapping software on a tensile test machine.
CAD & FEA PROJECT: Safety Quick-Release Design 2015
Designed a quick-release safety mechanism, used in the sport of kiteboarding, in Solidworks. Performed FEA in COMSOL to optimize the design for size and strength. Quick-release was designed to handle 1,000 lbf.
DESIGN PROJECT: Retractable Bicycle Lock 2014
Designed, modeled in Solidworks, and built a wire-retractable bicycle lock allowing a bike to effortlessly lock to almost anything.
