PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Lockheed Martin Missiles & Fire Control, Orlando, FL
Systems Engineer Sr., Aerodynamics
JASSM Aerodynamics Lead (7/2013 – Present)
• Lead a team of 3-5 engineers in performing the aerodynamics analysis to support simultaneous aircraft integration contracts.
• Briefed status to program management and the customer on a weekly basis.
• Contributed to proposal and scheduling efforts for upcoming contracts.
• Test lead for the JASSM Finland F/A-18C/D Separation Wind Tunnel Test.
• Conducted missile inspections at Eglin AFB and JASSM Factory in Troy, AL.
• Utilized flight test data to quantify the error in the aerodynamic predictions, leading to aerodynamic model updates that increased confidence in the results.
• Took the initiative to consolidate the JASSM and JASSM-ER aerodynamic models, simplifying the simulation and minimizing code upkeep.
Hellfire Wind Tunnel Test Lead (11/2012 – 7/2013)
• Coordinated test planning, model fabrication, and model build-up in a short time frame to meet schedule requirements.
• Lockheed Martin test lead for two wind tunnel test entries, at Calspan TWT and Dallas HSWT.
JAGM Aerodynamics (5/2009 – 11/2012)
• Supported F/A-18E/F integration analysis through the following: CFD analysis for preflight load predictions, wind tunnel test planning and test support, development of the interference aero model, integration into the JAGM flight simulation, and envelope analysis leading to a flight clearance.
• Performed failure analysis to assess flight safety from multiple platforms.
• Developed thrust and burn duration requirements for a fixed wing rocket motor; utilizing equations I derived to...
