Project Experience:
Low Bypass Turbofan Preliminary Design Proposal (Ongoing): Member of a three man team tasked with submitting a technical proposal for the design of a Low Bypass Turbofan capable of preforming the requirements specified by a Request for Proposal (RFP). MATLAB and Excel utilized for reiterative calculations.
FlightGear ( Stability and Control analysis): Member of a six man team tasked with conducting a stability and control analysis of the aircraft using DATCOM and MATLAB for calculating values, as well as editing the input file for the aircraft’s FlightGear model for a more accurate flight model.
Longboard/Mountainboard Design Project: Member of a two person team that collaborated to provide a CAD model and a design schematic for each individual part of a preexisting longboard, as well as for the full assembly, on CATIA. Then changes were made to the parts to improve the design. This project utilized CATIA Part Design, General Shape Design, and Drafting.
SENAET (IGNITE Project): Leader of a three person extracurricular group with an objective to write multiple engineering and programming lessons to be taught to advanced middle school students. These lessons involved basic C-code, how read a circuit diagram and how to set a circuit up form that diagram. Components used included but were not limited to, speakers, resistors, capacitors, LEDs and potentiometers.
