Freelance Copyeditor/Proofreader
I’ve offered my services as a proofreader to writers in all sorts of fields. Most recently, I partnered with a South Korean artist and researcher to develop her cultural commentary in English text. We worked to translate her ideas about Japanese colonialism and South Korean over-industrialism, making sure she met a specific grammatical standard while remaining poetically expressive where effective and highly legible otherwise.
Research Assistant
National Bureau of Economic Research, Cambridge, MA 2020-2021
Working with Dr. Edward Glaeser of Harvard Economics, I produced graphics to illustrate
the spread of COVID-19 as propagated by public transportation usage trends in New York
City. This work was compiled into an NBER report in which I am directly acknowledged. I
also validated a large dataset of road repairs in Chicago over the last 10 years, entry
by entry.
